The grapes with which La Bottaia is obtained come from vines that have an average age of 40 years and whose yield never exceeds 70 quintals per hectare. Moreover, all the wines of the 2011 harvest seem to have inherited the strength of the volcano Vulture and the nobility of the Aglianico vine. Even La Bottaia is no exception. It rests for 18 months in small French oak barrels and ages 6 months in glass.
