Obtained 100% from Cabernet Franc grapes, a vine native to the Bordeaux area introduced in the Collio area at the end of the 19th century, with very vigorous vegetation, where it has immediately proved to be very resistant to rain and spring and autumn bad weather. The grapes with which this wine is obtained are produced in the vineyards of Zavognza and Bukova, at an altitude ranging from 150 to 180 meters s.l.m.
The grapes are harvested in the late period. They are then macerated for about twenty days until they run out of sugars, making manual punching, to extract in the best way, all the substances that the skins jealously guard. The wine thus obtained is then kept until bottling, which normally takes place in the summer or the following autumn.
Nourished ruby red, with marked purple rims that tend to garnet with aging.
Characteristic is the intense and herbaceous aroma, very pleasant, which recalls the vine.
Herbaceous is also on the palate, supported by body and harmony. Full and generous, distinct and austere.
